When a young Annamalai Swami came to Bhagavan with a burning desire to know the truth, these were the words of Bhagavan, "I was waiting for you, I was wondering when you would come." 

For the next 14 years Annamalai Swami served Bhagavan faithfully, surrendering his body, mind and soul to his Guru.

And Bhagavan from day one kept a watchful eye on his disciple, making sure nothing would distract him from the path that he carefully laid out for him.
